The course focuses on the emerging and development of the Christian Scriptures/New Testament within the Jewish, Roman, and Greek cultures and on the impact it had and still has on contemporary cultures. The primary texts are analyzed and discussed with particular attention to the development of the concept of justice and its implications for our world today. This course is writing focused.
