The purpose of this course is to prepare students for professional interactions with a full range of clients and healthcare practitioners in a variety of healthcare settings. Students will explore and model professional communication and behavior based in a wide range oral, written, non-verbal, and electronic forms of communication. Cultural competence in communication is an essential outcome.
