During this course students use the critical thinking process to determine the health status of individuals and review select health care issues. Students study various roles of the professional nurse, practice interpersonal and clinical nursing skills, and learn techniques that assist individuals to meet health needs. Clinical experience takes place in the University laboratory and select healthcare settings.
