Credits 3
Internships are intended to provide students with experience related to their major. Internships allow students to apply what they learn in class to real world situations. Positions can be found in both corporate and non-profit institutions and can be for pay (generally the case for corporate internships) or on a volunteer basis (sometimes the case with non-profits). A minimum of 120 hours of work experience is required to complete each course. Approval of the student’s academic advisor and the Graduate Program Director is required.
