A review of basic principles of pharmacology impacting clinical physical therapy practice using a case-based approach is addressed. The course covers the mechanism of action of drugs, pharmaco-kinetics, side effects and therapeutic use. Students will learn the application of pharmacological interventions and their influence on physical therapy care plans.
